Heh heh
--was reading another thread asking for a history log field to be added. Dan said no, dude kept on asking. Kind of struck me as funny....so I thought I'd expound on the idea:
Hey Dan, please add all the funtionality of an advanced word processor so that I can create and edit complex formated character histories for my PCs all within the confines of Hero Designer. With date/time stamps and topical keywording if possible. I like my applications integrated and think this would be a great idea.
And while youre at it, since you are in the code anyway, how about expanding that into a built in campaign log with itemized crosslinked notes, web enabled for collaborative use by all players and a GM in a given campaign via a central server hosted by HERO Games? That would be really cool too.
To interface this new functionality you could simply add another tab or just shove it all in with the other text boxes on the Background tab as you see fit, big guy. We'll leave that call in your able hands.
Huh? Feature creep? Whats that mean?
(only kidding, of course -- there are more than enough text boxes on the bg tab -- info of that sort is meant to display on a character sheet, not get bound into novel form)
