I moved the HD Export to HCS status to the Other Software Forum.

So Midhir, this list presented... these are what you are able to successfully import from Hero Designer over to HCS? So this means your having some success with an import filter? Does this means that HCS fans will soon have the means to import their HD characters into a format that HCS will use?

Yay! Horray for Midhir!

Thats what it will hopefully mean. I'm working with the HCS folks to get a HD Export filter that creates data HCS can import and the above list is what I have had success with so far either by tweaking the filter, making a few custome HD Template changes (trying to avoid this but it might be necessary for a few things) and modifing the HCS Import Patterns.

So hopefully soon there will be a working model of the Export Filter (pretty much finished this part) and a new version of HCS that will read it (upto the HCS folks).

I just downloaded the 1.21 .jar file and installed it. When i run the app, it still says 1.20. Was there some kind of error there?
Thanks

You haven't installed the update then. Make sure that you saved it as "update.jar" (in your install directory) and not "update.jar.zip"

hmm weird.. i noticed that the first file i updated was the exact same size as the old 1.20 file (i've been keeping most of them), but the one i downloaded today, was alisghtly larger. any possibility that i could have grabed the 1.20 the first time?

Nope....1.20 does not exist on the server...it's been replaced by 1.21.

You may have been caching the file in your browser and not actually downloaded the new version.....
