5E FH Armor Weight Errata?

Full armor suits (whether leather, chain, etc.) are listed in the Price Listing Area and in the Armor Area in the 5E FH book, but the weight on one of the lists is 2x the weight on the other list - what's up with this? (No book handy for page references.)

(No book handy for page references.) Without looking at the book, my hipshot guess is to ask if youre sure you arent looking at Barding on one of the lists. Barding would be quite a bit heavier.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I was looking at the same armor listings in two different locations, not at barding, which was on another page. I'll try to remember some page cites to post tomorrow.

I think you are looking at the Barding list, which is on the same page (145) as the people armor. I have checked the price list weights against the armor weights listed in the armor secion (page 190) and they are the same.

This is a known erratum. It's in the errata list.

Hey, I forgot about this, but did look back, and thought it was as the responders above said...now you've got me wondering about this again?! Didn't see anything in the errata offhand...

I just checked the FH errata page and I did not see anything about armor weight.

You're right! What the heck am I thinking of? :confused: I could have sworn I saw something about conflicting values for armor weights. I can picture it in my mind: There's a table of armor weights, and then under that in the main text there's a desciption of armor weight as a function of DEF, and one of them is twice the other. I could have sworn I saw an erratum somewhere that said that the table was correct and the text was wrong, or vice versa. IDHMBIFOM.

There's an awful lot of confusion about armor weights here. It sounds to me like some other game company is trying to bring Hero down.

No. Actually, I was thinking of the armor tables in FREd. That IS a known erratum in the official errata.

And I looked up the error that slaughterj mentions, but I don't see it. The armor weights look the same to me.
