I've tried going to Skirmishes, because I know there's an active group(s) of gamers there. But it's too far in the opinion of She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed.
Store in Pineville? If you mean Underground Games, yes. Nice place with lots of open gaming area, friendly accomodating staff. I order all of my stuff through them though, because all they primarily stock RPG-wise is d20.
Haven't run a game there yet.
