Hello Scott Bennie , I really enjoyed you contributions to Champions and I'm looking forword to seeing what you've got cooked up for Villiany Amok . It sounds like a Mega Meta-Plots books .
How about some ideas on what to expect ? Then we can add our .02 cents .
Cheers

Scott's certainly welcome to chime in as he will, but basically I'd say that VA is best described as a guide to common/classic comic book plots for Champions -- how they work, what they include, how to represent/run them as gaming scenarios (which are, of course, different things from comic book stories), and how to vary and elaborate on them so they're not always so predictable. Each section covers one plot, and provides a mini-scenario incorporating it (and perhaps other resources, like an NPC or villain who's appropriate).
By way of example, two of the plots described are "new street drug gives people superpowers" and "my big fat caped wedding" (definitely my favorite of Scott's many creative titles). ;)

Steve pretty much sums it up, but if you're looking for an example, the "Stars of Blood" scenario in Digital Hero #5 which deals with the classic "Superheroes Get Kidnapped And Are Forced To Fight In An Alien Arena" scenario, was written as a trial run. The Villainy Amok scenarios will be a little more generic than Stars of Blood, but that'll give you an idea of what to expect.
I've also been tinkering with a detailed random scenario generator, and if I (and Steve) are happy with it, you'll see it in the book too.
I'll also post a "What would you like to see..." thread for Villainy Amok when I'm getting ready to start the book. The suggestions that people gave on a similar thread for VIPER thread were invaluable, and I definitely want this to be as useful as possible.
