I just got CU and found an error on Page 132, the part where they describe the solar system and the various races/galaxies around us. The map is ok, but the text is not in sink with the page before or after. In fact it is areprint of page 128. So is there an errata site? If not, can anyone post what is on said page?

to be specific the missing part runs from:
"At first, it was believed that the aliens were in fact native to Mars." to:
"...without incident, but on a few occasions a Hzeel scout has lost control of his ship and crashed."

Thanks for your help.

Look under FAQs at the very top of the Hero site. The list of known errata is there. If you find something not on the list, email Steve at stevel@herogames.com. He'll eventually incorporate it. :)

As yet a further followup to the preceding posts  , if you click on the link to the Champions Universe errata, the resulting page includes a link to a free .pdf of the corrected page in CU with the proper text.

DOJ is nothing if not forthcoming. :D

DOJ is the company doing business as Hero Games. DOJ - Defenders Of Justice. :)

IIRC, "Defenders of Justice" was the name of the PC hero team in a campaign that Steve Long and some of the other company investors played in. When they formed the company to buy the rights to HERO, they took that as their acronym.

The Defenders of Justice were also mentioned as a Golden Age superhero team in Champions Universe. What's the point of owning the company if you can't get an occasional free plug? ;)

Obviously, that would be all the hot chicks.

Actually, the Defenders of Justice was my home group, not Steve's. The players included Jason "You Gotta Have Character" Walters, Mightydan, Riley McLaughlin, and most of the playtesters listed in the 5th Ed credits. Since we took over Hero, the roster has shifted a little, but many of those guys are still in Hero West's official playtest group, the Masonic Avenue Irregulars. dw
