I working on a spell that would cause it's recepiant to become very unluck. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a transformation attack. It changes them into an unluckly person. Only problem is this causes extra work for the GM do decide exactly how it affects them.

Any other ideas?

Just state that the Transform adds 3d6 Unluck to the character. Then the GM can decide for themselves how the unluck will affect them (it should affect them the same way it does any PC who would have 3d6 Unluck).

This is what I figured. Just thought I'd see if anyone had a idea that made it easier for the GM

It also depends on how you want the character to be affected. Clumsiness or similar can be a Dex Drain/Suppress. Having stuff fall on them, fall down or step on things could be 1 pip RKA every so many minutes/hours/whatever.

If the spell is an NPC spell it's easier to pull off.

ooh ooh I know. just buy a huge amount of Luck for the bad guy. The rules say that anything over the 3d6 translate to cover the group. The effect would be unluck on the players.
