I noticed that most equipment is a multipower. Would there be anything wrong with using a VPP?

For instance making Sick Bay as a VPP to reflect the fact that there is much more than simple Aid that can be done.

Nothing wrong at all, assuming the GM doesn't object. I try not to do that for published products, because it puts a lot of burden on players and GMs to stat up equipment (or requires us to take up a lot of page space with sample gear), but there's nothing wrong with it per se.
