What's going on with the Hero Chat lately? Leah Watts (No relation) was posting and BOOM! Can't get back in, and it doesn't start up now... Mac or PC.

Looks like. Tried on Windows XP and Gentoo Linux, no luck.

It seems to be down again. As you can imagine, since this is the second week in a row, I am extremely frustrated and unhappy. Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer, and Dan Simon seems not to be available. I will be raising this issue with him ASAP. dw

I set aside 2 hours a week for just chillin' with some buds and didn't get a chance to do that this week... man. :D

Well that makes me feel better, I thought I had a problem with my system earlier.

Dan got it back up and running about 7:10, and promises to work on the stability issues this week. Many thanks to El Programmer Grande! dw

Dan -- I tried to login to the chat today with the Mac Java 1.4.1 R10 client, just for testing purposes, since Hero Designer is working so nicely. But instead of the chat room I got the Java console with the following:

Another thing... (and this is my own personal issue; I'll understand if the answer is "No, Can't Be Done")
Some may or may not have noticed my absences from the chats (some may have even breathed a sigh of relief from it). The reason being is that my hours at work have changed... I work from Noon until 9pm Central on weekdays. Now, my duties would allow me to attend chat, so long as I got my work done at the same time... except that the proxy server I have Internet access on has a b***** of a firewall... Apparently, it prevents the chat room applet from even initializing.
Is it possible to access the chat room despite a firewall?

Just to see if others had the same problem I did, did your computers lock up or did you just get booted?
