Sorry to start out with the bad, but I still cant seem to get DH#7 and The Playtest files. Is anyone else having troubles?

BTW: Love the new boards!

The problem is that my download will go to about 71 KB and then freeze. I have DSL and normally get things fast. I cant't seem to get The Playtest File or DH#7. I do have a VPN router at this location, but I do not think that this is the issue. I only tell you this as you seem to be very good at solving technical issues if you have the facts.

PS: I also waant to thnak you for the gerat work you have don on Hero Designer. I love it!:D

"Sire" on the otherhand is just fine :D

As for the problem, are you right-clicking and selecting "save as" or are you trying to open the PDF in your browser (using the Adobe plugin)?

If the latter, try the former, as the Adobe plugin seems to have some problems with the file being funneled out through a jsp page. Probably an extra bit at the beginning of the file or somesuch.

I haven't had any problems pulling the file down when doing a "save as".

Are you Right Clicking and doing a Save As, or are you trying just clicking the link and trying to open it from the webpage? If you are doing the latter they will not open properly. You need to save them to your computer and then open them.

Thanks for the advice guys, but the problem was indeed internal. My VPN Firewall was bogging down my system. I went to my office and downloaded it in a split second. I have a Cisco Air Bridge there and get good speed.
