Let Me Rephrase...

Remember before when I said I was looking for a Champions PBEM? Well lots of you gave suggestions but the results from the subsequent sites were... wanting. First off, there are very few Champions or HERO System PBEMs out there. Secondly, those that are out there are virtually all X-Men or X-Mutant variant games. Sorry, but that's really not my style. I'm looking for just a standard super-hero Champions campaign. Any suggestions? Any openings?

It's funny you should ask...

I've been toying with starting a PBEM set in a four-color Champions Universe using a mismash of homegrowns and adapted characters from comics. But regardless of the particulars, high-flying. two-fisted four-color heroes in the grand comic book traditions. I've been using the boards as a thermometer to see if there might be interest in this type of thing, and found the general mood a little... lukewarm.

I have two players already lined up, the guys I usually game with, who are eager to give it a go. Almost all of the groundwork is done, it's more a matter of making sure folks want to give it a shot rather than starting to lay the foundations. If you're interested, drop me a private mail and let me know- then it's a matter of getting space at Hero Central or wherever and getting to it.

Have you checked out the Global Guardians PBEM? We've got a bunch of campaigns, and there's always room for more players.
