Hey all!

I believe that I found the problem that the chat has been having.....it looks like there was an old page which was trying (every once in a while) to start up the old chat server (which runs on the same port as the current one). This caused the new chat server to get booted from its port, locking everyone out of the chat until the server was reset.

I've removed all code and references to the old chat server, so that problem should be a thing of the past.

I've also taken the opportunity to update the chat applet a little bit to allow it to accept HTML code (for those of you that know it).

I'll be in there throughout the day today if anyone would like to help test it out.

Hi Dan: I'll only login if you get rid of the "Juliet" sound effect...it is really annoying. :)

Chat room is loading faster, and the font is clearer.

Dan, please please please, add a mute option:)

If you're talking about the default sound for a new message, it's already been changed.....

That will be coming just as soon as I get a chance to code in the user prefs screen.
