Supplemental Rules

Steve,

I finally picked up a copy of Alien Wars this weekend (FLGS finally got stock back in). While reading through it, a question started brewing in the back of my mind.

What are the possibilities of DOJ releasing a supplemental pub, either in print, or PDF; free or paid, that included the few pages of optional rules gathered from the different source/world/campaign books? Not all the background and source material for the various settings, but just the new skills/talents/perks etc. and optional combat rules.

At this point, pretty much zero. For one thing, those rules are a key selling point for the books, and we'd like to keep it that way; for another, there's not enough of that stuff for a printed book, and we've seen that PDFs don't sell so well; for a third, when possible I'd rather create new stuff than just recycle old stuff. ;)

But I won't say never. At some point the idea may prove attractive.

Cool. Maybe one day during a Resource Guide reprint. It would certainly save me from hauling 40 lbs of books to my gaming sessions :)

Is it possible to get just a listing of the "new" rules? Maybe just their name and where the descriptions are located (what book)?
