HERO Designer Purchase

If I pay for the CD copy of HERO designer, do I get to download it immediately, or do I have to wait for the CD to be mailed to me?

Well, it's a CD -- you can't download it, it's a physical object. ;) So, we have to send it to you.

Maybe I should have been clearer.

I KNOW what a CD is and how it is delivered. I'm not an utter dolt.

My question was whether or not the install file could be downloaded while I wait for the CD copy to be shipped. Some places let you do this, understanding that the point of the CD purchase is to have an archival copy of the installation files, separate and distinct from your desktop machine.

Nope. You gotta wait to get the whole thing. I tried to allude to this in my first answer.

When the CD comes, then you get to install the software.

Sorry, I wasn't clear what you wanted to know.

We don't have any sort of "download after you buy the CD" procedure. Since the CD differs from the download (in that it has all the platforms, not just one), we'd prefer to keep 'em distinct in that respect.
