I understand the exact date Sidekick will be available is still unsure, but when will it be available for preorder in the online store, if at all?

No it won't. We don't offer our books for sale until a month after they have been available in retail stores.

To clarify:

When Sidekick is available, we'll give retailers one month to sell it without any competition from us. After that, we'll put it in the Online Store.
