Dan,
I'm building an automaton that I want to have 0 End on Running an Leaping. I went into the Advantages section and it doesn't list it there at all. Is this an Illegal power construction?

I show it under both Running and Leaping as an Available Limitation for the Automaton template.

Odd .. it doesn't show up under mine .. lemme take another look maybe I'm just missing it ...
Edit: Nope .. It's not there at all. Are you clicking on the "Running" power and then going to Advantages?
Edit again: Alright .. found out how to get it to show up. If I left the Running at 0 inches and then tried to apply it to just the base Running .. it wouldn't give me the Reduced End option. If I clicked it to 1 (so the power now costs end) the Reduced End option showed and and I could tell it to apply to Base Char and then remove the additional running.

If you just want to apply a stand-alone Advantage to something like that (or Reduced END on STR, etc.), the easiest way to do that is with Naked Modifer.
For example, to do a "Zero END on Base 6" Running" Power, try these steps:
1. Go to the Powers tab.
2. Add Naked Modifier.
3. Set the Max. Base Cost to 12 (the "cost" of your free 6" of Running)
4. Make sure the Uses END checkbox is checked.
5. Click on Add Modifier and add Reduced Endurance. Then set it to 0 END.
6. Click OK
You should now get a stand-alone item costing you 6 points for 0 END on Running. :)

True .. see the only problem (well, not really a problem) with that is that I was able to apply the O End to STR without having to resort to a Naked Power Advantage. I just clicked on STR, letf the Value field at 0 clicked on Apply to Base Characteristics and then went to Advantages. Reduced End was in the list of advantages for STR .. only thing is .. it wasn't in the List for Leaping/Running until I made it cost End. Either way I got it to work .. but thank you for your help and suggestion.

It is there. Guaranteed.
The only thing that may be a little funky is if you want to purchase +0 Running with 0 END....in that case, you'll need to set the Running to 1 level first (in order to make the Power cost END), apply 0 END (trust me, it's there), and then reduce the levels to 0.

Yup .. I played around a bit with it after you told me it was there and that's how I got it to work. :)
Thanks a bunch for looking into it for me.
