New Style

There is a new Style available for users called "White". It uses a white background with black/gray and green text.

Go to your PROFILE to select the new Style if you want to check it out.

Ugg, not for me personally. I need my black lettering on white background, but I'm sure some others will like it. It's nice to have a choice.

Yeah, it is black letters on a white background with green headers. It doesn't look that bad. It's sort-of like reading something in an rtf document.

My eyes and I both thank you.

However, there is one tiny little nit. Is there anyway to make these boxes that we type in a more "compatible" color?

The green on black is kinda harsh against the rest of the grey/white screen.

And before you say it, yes I know, sometimes "there just isn't pleasing some people."

I've changed the text to be white in the input windows. I really don't want to change it all to be black on white becasue that would make the background of the whole page white... and that would make it look ugly... and i don't like ugly.

I hope this is more friendly, though.

Heh. I was downloading at the time I viewed, so I think the graphics were uploading a little slow. No wonder it looked so ugly. After further review, I think I will use the new style.

Much easier to read. I'd still like Black on White in the input boxes, but beggars and choosers.

Quick note to all posters. Since there are now several flavors of backgrounds, people should avoid intentionally coloring their text white or gray. It would make it disappear for some viewers.

I have to say I like the new style. Typing white on a black field is a little weird, but I think I will be sticking with the new style for a while.

Not that there isn't anything wrong with the old one. :)

Personally I'm used to either green or amber on a black field, but then again, I've been working with computers for WAY to long... :)

The white is cool but its just too bright. My computer sits in a semi-dark corner of the game room so I'll stick with the default. It's nice to have options though.
