...For his powers are Illegal :D

Actually I like the character, but I question the legality of a few things on him:

First of, while I understand Gestures on him, I question if it is appropriate, or if that is part and partial to him haveing a OAF Focus (However I would consider letting him have 2-Handed, so it all evens out in the end I guess).

The bit that got to me was on his Sharp Arrows and his Blunt Arrows, the can be missile defledcted, cant these normaly be deflected?

Hey, I had been composing this yesterday, but wanted to look up Adjustment powers in my rulebook first.

Hmm, I only seem to contribute to this thread to report mistakes :(

Sorry about that, I DO enjoy DH and am a loyal subscriber.

Anyway, the Missile Deflection rules in FRED state that RKAs, EBs, and pretty much any attack with the Ranged advantage can be deflected. Powers with the Area of Effect advantage, Mental Powers, and Entangles can generally NOT be deflected. The rules for the “Can Be Missile Deflected” Limitation say that it is intended for powers that cannot normally be deflected, such as the aforementioned AoE/Mental Powers/Entangles.

The character Scarlet Archer has the “Can Be Missile Deflected” Limitation on his Sharp Arrows (a simple Armor Piercing RKA) and his Blunt Arrows (defined as an EB). Clearly neither power qualifies for the limitation, since RKAs and EBs can be deflected by default.

In another article, the character Stat has the same Limitation on a Multi-power of Ranged Drains/Aids. This is a little less clear-cut, since Adjustment Powers are not specifically mentioned in the Missile Deflection rules. But I double-checked with Steve (http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13958) and they are Deflected by default so the limitation is not valid here either.
