So I went to use the cool new published character export template (thanks RPMiller!) for a vehicle of mine and it kinda freaked out on me (which is understandable cuz it is a vehicle, after all).
Could someone put together a template just like the character one but for vehicles?

BTW - I'm using a custom vehicle template that has the Background Tab included. I'm using the BACKGROUND container and relabelling it DESCRIPTION like so...
{BACKGROUND}Description{/BACKGROUND} (The { } are actually greater than and less than... damn HTML)
So I'd want that field included at the very end of the sheet, like in the books. (I'm using this for spaceships and stuff)

Ben,
You can use < and > to get < and > to appear properly.

Ben, can you attach your custom template to the board? This is something I've been meaning to do myself (custom template) but have not had the time to do it.
Thanks

Just a note on this:
You're probably better off using one of the new "notes" tabs (enabled under the campaign rules) for this type of thing. It will both look better and make a bit more sense when viewing the character within HD, as the tab will be labeled "Description" (or whatever else you want) rather than "Background".
It will also make it easier to design a "generic" export template for it, as the label chosen for the notes tabs is avalable as an export tag, so it can be dynamically set.

You know, I was thinking that very thing when I was working on the 2.22 tests. I just forgot because I've been so busy with work that I haven't had much Hero time this week. Looks like I really need a vacation.

Ben, I'm currently working on Published versions of all the Export Templates. I'm held up currently on creating a Combat Template so that some rather vocal folks won't have anything to complain about. I'm creating it as a stand alone template and as part of another Option that includes all the character info. The idea is that with one click they will have the character and the combat sheets rendered.
I'm about two hours from completing the combat template, and then I'll return to the others. I'll make the Vehicle template the first one so that you'll have it here first.

Here's the template I was using that where I put the notes in the Background tab...
Although I like the idea of using a new Description tab...

And one more thing... Here are the Campaign Rules that I think should be used when doing the Published Vehicle Export Template. It has 2 new tabs... Additional Vehicles and Description...
I hope this is helpful...
