This has probably come up before but I didn't have any luck searching.

Is there a good export template for printing equipment only? I've put my campaign's weapons in a prefab and I'd like a way to print it. An RTF format would be ideal then I could go in and edit it for printing in Word or whatever. But anything would probably beat printing a character sheet that mostly blank.

Will this work for you? :D

EDIT: New Version includes total weight and cost

Wonderful!:)

It's better than I'd hoped for. It's a shame it's too late for me to play with it tonight. Tomorrow will be a long day at work.

Thank you very much. You Da Bomb!

Sure thing. Let me know if you need any of the RTF code changed. I've gotten pretty good at it. ;)

Any intention to add the mass and price codes?

This may be a bug in HD, but the value for the list is not showing.

A 2.23 Feature Enhancement was:

Lists now track weight and cost when used on the Equipment tab.

I guess this means "manually", i.e. it doesn't add up the values underneath the least and present that as the lists value? Still useful, but less so.

Thanks for the rtf.

Not a bug -- there is no "totalling" on the lists, they just report whatever you choose to enter in the dialog for the weight and/or cost.

I just added the total weight to the template above. Is that what you were looking for?

EDIT: Oops forgot cost. That is now added in also.

The total weight does help. DSimon clarified it for me as well. I see how it works.

If it totaled by list, then each list could be a container (e.g. Backpack) or classification (e.g. Armor) and it would be easier to assess what "groupings" weigh what.

Thanks.

Ah, I see what you were looking for. Yea that would be a useful tag. Something like LIST_WEIGHT and LIST_COST.

Then you could buy list X, Y and/or Z from a prefab and you would have your totals and costs for each. Good idea. Maybe in some future version?

Nope. While it makes sense for a list of objects where the list is being used to represent a carrying unit (e.g. backpack, sack, saddle bags, etc), it does not make any sense in other areas, where the list is a MP, EC, or just an organizational unit for a grouping of similar powers/abilities.

Hmm... Ok, I hadn't thought of MP or ECs as the same as a list, so I thought the tags would be different anyway. So providing the option to have the "subtotalling" of lists won't work with the current engine. I see. That's too bad. Maybe in the next version or something? I personally don't have a use for it, but I could see how others might.

Thanks for the clarifications Dan. :D
