I am very intrested in ways to craft the points on this guy so he isn't mopped up easily in battle.

WOW...munchkin alert!

Lemme guess...2xBody from the two attacks that he absorbs is so he can get extra points on his Absorption?

The DF: Costume and SL: Villain are two of the lamest Disads I've ever seen. If any of my players handed me a character sheet with DF: Costume and SL: Hero, I'd tear up the sheet.

Depending on the size of attacks being thrown around in your game, I'd buy him some additional Resistant PD & ED (or Armor) with the Lim. "Only up to the amount rolled on Absorption."

On top of that, you'll probably want to add Damage Reduction, Stun Only, to keep him from running out of stun each time he's hit with KAs.

Some more Knockback Resistance can't hurt, either.

How long do your combats normally last? I just wonder at the value of the delayed fade rate on the Absorptions when using his EB drains it utterly anyway. Lets say he gets hit with a 12d6 attacks on average, for say 36 stun and 12 body each time, and rolls the max on his Absorption each time: Figuring in his Susceptibilites, after 4 attacks he'll have absorped 64 CP, which is just enough to throw one 24d6 attack of his own - except he's unconscious at this point, and when you go unconscious you Absorption pool empties.

Maybe add a Heal, with similar limitations to his EB? Or maybe Regeneration, with a lim that he must have a min os 10 CPs in his Absorption pool for it to activate. You need something to keep him on his feet once he's built up enough CPs in his pool for his EB to be a threat.

If this guy is going to take on a team, he'll need some crowd-control abilities. Darkness, Invisibility, Entangle, and Flash all work to limit the number of foes he has to deal with at one time. Otherwise, he'll be taken down before he has enough time to build up a respectable EB.

Also, realize that if this guy is entangled or flashed right off the bat, he can be grabbed / wrapped up without any struggle. All he has to defend himself against non-damaging effects is 16 STR and a 1d6 EB

I would hardly consider that to be call for munchkin. If you consider the fact that he only has 8 points in armor, anything higher than 1d6 killing or 4d6 EB is going to be dishing out massive damage to him it balances out. Absorption does not allow you to reduce the damage you take, it allows you to pick up some of the energy. He is designed so that his power is his weakness.

Good points. I'll remove those disadvantages and maybe add in a cool/decent Psych Limitation.
