Mac OSX...jump in or wait?

hi all.

i was wondering if i should jump in, and buy the windows download version and use the steps outlined in another thread for using on my mac...

or

...wait until the OSX install version is released.

my life on the command line, has been short...i get the jitters when playing with the terminal

I plan to wait. It doesn't sound like it will take that long to make the OSX installer.

... but somehow I expected that we'd see some commentary on how work on the Mac OS X installer was going. Considering how fast Dan has responded to the other items.

I guess he's just been swamped this past week.
