The artists have kinda run away with those. Its really just part of the steel gauntlets she wears.
I haven't bothered to correct any artist and they just kinda got exaggerated.
As long as it doesn't detract from the character, I'm OK with it.

Electralite was done by John Becaro on DeviantArt
Mindstorm and Dr Density are by Rhardo on DeviantArt.
If you look for Mindstorm on DeviantArt you should find the picture and then get to Rhardo that way.
To get to John Becaro you could again use Mindstorm to check the favourites. I am there and use the link to get to my profile and favorites. Find Electralite as it will be one of the newer ones and thence to John Becaro.

Here's a pair of commissions I got from an artist named Kris Smith. Both are actual Golden Age comic characters.
The first one is Mirror Man, who wore a cloak that allowed him to teleport through mirrors and other glass-like surfaces:

The second one is Wonder Man, the first official rip off of Superman. He only appeared once before the company who owned him stopped using him when they got hit with a lawsuit:

I must be getting older. My first reaction upon seeing the bosom above wasn't "Wow! Wotta rack!" but "Careful girl! Your boobs look like they're about to pop!" I find that the older I get, and the more actual breasts I see, the more I can appreciate a bosom that shows the effects of time and gravity (and genetics, too).
If you were to raise the point-of-attachment of the upper part of the breasts on the ribcage and lower the center of mass for her "prow" I think they'd look more naturally integrated with the rest of her physique. Right now, they look like they were added as an afterthought, and positioned more to give everyone a view than with an eye to human anatomy.
I know this may impose something of a hardship upon you, but I suggest you study unretouched photographs of nekkid women (and on a more serious note, books on human anatomy) to get a more natural appearance. Actually, the rest of her is just about perfect.
Good work!

Thanks Enforcer. Got some new stuff from Dan Houser, who is the line artist for ICONS. He's been doing these projects called Hero Pack, where you can contribute your own Hero/Villain, etc, to become part of the official ICONS "universe". The 3rd one was supposed to be all space/cosmic heroes originally, so I decided to contribute to it. I came up with The Tomorrow Squad, a group of heroes from the 1950's. All of them gained powers related to Aliens, and the group's mission is to prevent Earth from being conquered in the future by an unknown alien race. Dan went with a more Kirby-esque style for these, which I think came out pretty cool. So I figured I'd share these with everyone.
First up is Doc Future. Contacted by his future self about the alien invaders, Doc Future gained the ability to manipulate time around him when the time warp he used to get home was blasted by an alien energy weapon. Now he leads the Tomorrow Squad in an attempt to prevent that future from ever happening:
http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp82/urbwar/Dan%20Houser%20Commissions/docfuturecolorsample.png
Astral Girl is half alien, which is where her mental powers come from. She also is a trained detective, which she learned from her step father:
http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp82/urbwar/Dan%20Houser%20Commissions/astralgirlcolorsample.png
Beacon was a test pilot who encountered a UFO. Bathed in a weird light by that craft, he gained the power to manipulate light to do his bidding:

Continuing the Tomorrow Squad:
Astro-Man was an astronaut. While on a mission in space, his craft was bombarded by cosmic radiation. He was the only survivor, and gained cast powers that he now uses to protect humanity:
http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp82/urbwar/Dan%20Houser%20Commissions/astromancolorsample.png
Quartz worked at an observatory until he was abducted by aliens. They experimented on him, turning his flesh into a gem-like substance. He now has super strength, and the ability to deflect/reflect energy attacks:

I'll give you a quick breakdown of their powers. Remember, this is for ICONS; I haven't played Champions in a very long time (since 4th edition!), but if you want to convert them, it shouldn't be hard.
Astral Girl: Telepathy, Mind Blast, Astral Projection, and the ability to detect mental powers. She also has a jet pack for flight
Astro-Man: He has a power called Wizardry (Cosmic). He can use any power as a stunt, but has the following that he uses all the time: Flight, Force Field, Binding (entangle), Life Support (still needs to eat/sleep) and cosmic power detection.
Beacon: Controls light energy. Can fly, create a force field of solid light, fire laser beams and blinding flashes of light
Doc Future: He can manipulate chronal energies. He's a precog, can give himself super speed or slow time around someone to paralyze them, as well as summon duplicates of himself from alternate time lines. He also flies with a jet pack
Quartz: Has armor thanks to his gem like skin, super strength, and the ability to reflect energy attacks back at opponents. Also flies via a jet pack.

Best way is to be a contributor. It's not a for-sale magazine, just distributed among contributors and friends. Minimum activity requirements are pretty light, and there's usually some great stuff inside. (Though, as coordinator of the 'zine, I'm a little biased.)
Once we get the website updated, you can also get a copy by submiting a winning or runner-up caption in our cover art caption contest.

Somehow, I suspect that saying that the young lady in question would
be "not pleased by this at all" would make the person saying it guilty
of a gross understatement.

Some time ago, there used to be thread hereabouts called "Images That Could Be a Hero" or something like that, with lots of odd and interesting photos that could be used as super background material. None of the search combos I'm using come up with anything, so I'm wondering if it was axed for some reason or another. It could be that my search-fu just isn't strong enough. Of course, after all this time, there would the normal heat death of broken links, but I would like to see what remains if anyone can remember what it was called.

Here (http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php/25969-Pics-that-could-be-a-Super-Team-%29).
The thread was started seven years ago and ended five years ago, so a lot of the older pictures aren't active any more.

Has it really been that long? How the time does fly. But as I said, that sort of dead linkage is to be expected. (Though it looks like a lot of the pics are still extant; the BB software has just changed the way it handles pics since then.)
That said, it looks like if we could get Oddhat started again on a similar thread, he could come up with pages of material.

If I had to come up with a caption for this pic, it'd be:
"Save the Cheerleader, condemn the World to Eternal Damnation."
Or something like that...

Yeah, I was thinking of a character called Azrael by a guy called Rob Boros (http://www.hellwerx.com/hwxmenu.html). She looks very similar, hence the confusion.

I'm not entirely sure, but the wrist weapon that she's using looks a lot like the doohickey
that the good guy in Cowboys and Aliens was using.

See, I have a problem with this kind of academic snobbishness. Sure, anyone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It%27s_Pat!) can get a state college degree in naughtiness, but consider the alternative. Stanford? Stuck up rich girl. Harvard or, Heaven forbid, Oxford? Talks funny. Universite de Paris? Smoker. Berkeley? Hippy. Princeton? Jersey girl. Chicago? Tea Party.
I guess that it's a question of experimenting and sorting out which drawbacks are dealbreakers, and which ones are just petty annoyances. And you know what? I'm prepared to be the board's guinea pig.
