It's not likely to happen, but if there could be an official 5th Edition revamp of one of the 4th Edition Champions, who would you want it to be?
Also, how much alteration to the concept/background would you find tolerable?

I always thought Quantum was interesting. It's unusual to find superhero that has a temper without being deranged (Guy Gardner) or a killer. It's even more unusual for such a character to be female. And yet more unusual for her to be an African-American female.
She didn't fit into a lot of the classic molds, and I think that made her intriguing...

...None of the above.
To be honest I thought they were all pretty poor characters

Of all the previous Champions, I think that Jaguar would be the most practical choice to reboot. His history could easily be fit into the new continuity without substantial revision, unlike Obsidian or Solitaire. His internal conflict over assuming his were-form makes for potentially interesting characterization. His personality and skills would be appropriate for a solo NPC hero who might work occasionally with a group of PCs when those skills are needed. And with his background, there's no real reason why he couldn't be placed in any Spanish-speaking country as an encounter for globe-hopping PCs.

Well I had to go with Seeker.
Just to start the debate. Besides he's the only Aus around who ain't a stereotype.

I'm going with Seeker. Sure, sure, he is hated by many, but that just makes him more appealing to me. 'Sides, now we can get back to the tradition of kicking his butt and with whole new bad guys.

He's not?
An infant raised by some old japanese guy who still grew up talking like Paul Hogan?
Ooookay.
I voted for Jaguar. He sucked least (probably because he was a rip off of "Jaguar" and, thus, wouldn't be revamped... same origin, name, ethnicity, everything...)

I have to go with Solitaire. She became my favorite after her background was expanded in 4th Ed. Ultimate Mentalist.

Torn as heck, I have to admit, but in the end Seeker narrowly beats out Jaguar who also narrowly beat out Quantum.
I prefer Solitaire to Witchcraft for primarily thematic reasons, so although she's on my version of the Champions I couldn't possibly pick her over the other three.
Quantum's "token token" gag is what in the end sunk her in my opinion. She's the token mutant, the token black person, the token female, the token "hard on crime", the token energy projector... The again, she's been replaced by Jennifer Lopez in tights and insufficient defenses, so I can't say it's an improvement.
Jaguar gets beat out by Seeker only for sentimental reasons. Call me sentimental, but Champions without Seeker is kinda like Forgotten Realms without Elminster & Dritz. Besides, I feel guilty picking on someone that's not even part of the universe anymore.
If nothing else, I want Seeker back in the universe just so we can have that picture of him looking through the rules trying to figure out Resistant Defenses again :D

Jaguar, because he's different from the rest of the 'new' Champions. I don't hold any "sentimental" feelings for any of the 4th Edition Champions but if you asked who I'd like to see converted from the 3rd Champions, I go with Gargoyle.

Quantum. No particular logical reason; I just like her. Despite my preference for powerarmor characters, she was my favorite of the 4e set. I also liked the alt.take on her character in CNM.

I'm working on some plans to reintroduce some old champs in new form for my 5th Edition Campaign.
I'm using the 'Secret Crisis' mentioned in the 5E Champions Universe as the reason reality itself has changed and no one seems to know. :)
Their backgrounds maybe going through a major overhaul in some cases. I've already got Soli and Obsidian worked out. I just wonder how my players will react to one of the 4th E Champions now being a part of a villainous organization :)

We need supplements with Seeker getting pasted on the cover so we know that they will sell.

I would KILL to alone with Jennifer Lopez in tights and insufficient defenses. That is if by "tights" you mean a thong and by "insufficient defenses" you mean beer.
