Porting over from Hero Creator -- Character Pictures

A friend is sending me a bunch of Hero Creator files, I'm running them through the HD filter and updating them to 5th edition. However, I think the character artwork is getting lost someplace. At least, when I open the characters, I don't see a picture. Is there a simpler way of moving the art over to HD than printing everything and borrowing a friend's scanner?

If memory serves, HC stored the image that was assigned to the character as binary data within their proprietary file format, making it pretty much inaccessible.

You'll need to find the original images used for the characters and reassign them in HD if you want to use them on the characters.
