Is it possible for skills to be based off of custom chracteristics? If so, I am missing something.
If I define CUSTOM1 as a characteristic, with a display value of EDGE, it shows up fine on the characteristics list, but when I set the characteristic choice of a skill (brand new or just copied from main.hdt) to CUSTOM1, the skill shows up as general.
When I use DEF instead of CUSTOM1, the skill shows up as based on DEF (not EDGE, as specified in my definition).
If this should be possible, I can post my template for others to point out what I am doing wrong. If not, is it something that might be added?
