While looking at a sight for rolemaster, I ran across this article. I thought Herodom might find it useful.

In the old Chaosium version of RuneQuest, it was possible to purchase a pre-assembled Adventurer's Pack. Very handy and a great idea.

In high-fantasy games, a small stone with a permanent light spell is always nice to have in a pocket.

In a high-fantasy games, a small automatic weapons with a permanently filled magazine is always nice to have in a pocket. :)
Just inspired by the "pizza-oven" thing.

In a High Fantasy game, it's also nice to have a magical pizza oven. ;)
Actually, one of my favorite High Fantasy tricks is to cast limited levitation spells on gear like the stuff listed in that article to reduce its weight for easy carrying. Works great on, e.g., crowbars. I should've thought to put a spell for that in the FHG.

The things that Adventures never seem to have (and yet never need)...
1. A way of drying several things without doing fire damage.
2. A piece of rope less than 20 feet.
3. Someone that can cook. "Mmm, 12th day on rations."
4. Food for the horses (what they heck do they eat?)
5. A shovel.
6. A map.
7. A phrase book. "Town. Where is the Town?" "Gndemeuk?" "Town. Houses? People?" "Nek bro gragin?"

Then put it in FHG2. :hex:

Yeah, being the maker of the game does afford you nice little benefits like that.

Long ago in the days of DnD, we made up a standard adventurer's pack.
You can see one of the consequences if you go here:

Choose gallery #3 and the picture "Bearer #4"

Oddly enough, this week's Pyramid has a pretty informative article on horses -- types, uses, descriptions, care and feeding. Good stuff.
