Can the advantage VSF+1/4 change a 12d6EB vs Pd , into a 12d6EB vs ED.

The special effect flame/elctrical/TK/ice itself doesnt change just a which def it targets.

If not what advantage would do this, or would you just buy two seperate EB in a MP.
