Well, here's some links for your enjoyment...
The CIA World Factbook
http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/
Modus Operandi - espionage information for a handful of rpgs, including Spycraft, James Bond, Top Secret and D20 Modern.

You can always hang out on the AEG Spycraft forums for ideas...

When I saw the question, I was thinking GURPS books. What type of resources do you need? Tech info, spy info, or game info?

Pregenerated characters , NPC , Package Deals , and standard archetypes .
Classic mission types and adventures .

The AEG website has a lot of support materials for their espionage game Spycraft. On the site you can find a lot of free adventures that you could scour for ideas. The books they put out for the line too are also very useful, even if you don't play Spycraft. I'm admittedly biased since I'm a graphic designer at AEG, but when I've laid the books out I realized how much non-mechanic information is in them. Worth browsing next time you're at the game store.

Thanks Nato , I actually really like SPYCRAFT and SHAOWFORCE ARCHER , but I do not like the base system . Somethings I'd steal wholesale other I'd junk . What I'd really like is non glossy pages and shiny type . Ugh .. make it difficult to read for any amount of time . And a Master List of the Feats and stuff from all their products .
They have great fan sites though . Got a lot of use out of it for my old Shadowrun campaign ( gods I wish I had seen the HERO Conversion stuff way back ) . Steve has been kind enough to let me know everytime I ask about Danger International / The Espionage World sourcebooks that it will be part of the Dark Champions subgenre .
Great work BTW . Hope to see you getting more work from DoJ soon .
Cheers

As linked above, The CIA World Fact Book is a great game resource. I ran a Spycraft game last summer and used it pretty much every week. Sooner or later you're going to need to know the primary languages in Ghana or the major trading partners of Venezuela or something like that. It's all there.

When I first really got into HERO, I actually was really excited about how easy it would be to translate most of the Spycraft stuff (which is good in d20) into HERO.

Could you give me a link to your HERO Conversion stuff or post it somewhere . That would be great .
Thanks

I haven't actually converted it. Just being new to HERO, I was happy to see how all the different class abilities, backgrounds, and gadgets could be pretty easily made up in the HERO system. Sorry about that. Should have been clearer.

Is there a reason that this is in the Champions forum as opposed to the Dark Champions forum? Espionage/Danger International is considered a sub-genre of Dark Champions.

Good point Rod ... I've shunted this over to the Dark Champions forums :)
