Hero Dice? What are those? Go here (https://secure.compnetco.com/herogames/browse.jsp?categoryID=3) to find out!
Six 6-sided dice! Black with green! Each face includes numbers for Normal damage as well as pips for counting Body! And a cool hex-man logo for the "1" face!
How cool is that? Huh? HOW COOL!?

Well, there have been no orders yet. I'll check the store to make sure it is working right.
Which page is freezing on you?

So you click [ Checkout--> ] and what happens? It freezes? It spins infinitely? Error page?

I get the "Opening Page https://" etc status in the status bar, but after the green progress bar slowly inches over to the right it just sits there terminally.

Have you been able to succesfully purchase from us before? If so, when? And can you think of anything that has changed sincethe last time?
As a test, try removing the dice, adding a different product, and then trying the button again.
Obviously, I'm not encountering this problem.

I bought 3 packs of 6 and they just arrived. They are slightly oversize and have a nice heft to them. They'll be hard to store in the current Dice Box I use because of their size, but aside from that minor inconvenience they are a little slice of perfection.
Well done DOJ!

Is the store still not accepting Credit Cards from non-US banks?

One small question: How large are these dice? I have a preference for small dice (12mm or so). Just wondering.

I think they're 18mm, yep, the Company Questions Thread (http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16394) confirms. Post #19 by Steve Long

I think we worked it out so we could accept them, but honestly I don't recall. If we didn't, drop Ben a line (benseeman@herogames.com) and ask about ordering options. I'm sure we can work something out.
How large are these dice?
They're 18mm, as Lemming as noted. I have a preference for large dice. ;)

Thanks, dude. 18mm is much larger than I normally prefer, but still, they look cool.

Large dice aren't too bad if they're light. I really don't like dice that hit the table with a noxious clunk. Though having said that, I play more often on a battlemat than a wooden table surface nowadays, so it's probably not as much of an issue. ;)

I remember Sam Bell got a complaint from his apartment manager. The person in the appt below was complaining about the noise of the dice rolling. :D

They are very hefty dice and do land with a solid 'ca-thunk'.
They are large enough I have to use two hands to roll 8 or more d6 and had a hard time rolling all 18 at once (but the one time I tried, rolled up a beautiful 8 "6s" and only 1 "1" for a total of 80+ STUN and 25 BODY :D "Good dice!")
They look good too, matching FRED very closely -- the only thing missing is the "HEX" around the Hex-man is green instead of grey ;)
Im serious though, now we need a STUN Multiple die!

Also, I rolled two "3s" with them in a serious of about 20 3d6 rolls, and there is just a certain visreal satisfaction to seeing three HERO Hexes starting up at you. "BOO-YAH!"
You should all buy at least 1 set of 6. They are tres-cool.

And a half die.
Yeah -- they could package 3 STUN Multipliers and 3 Half Dice, or 1 SM 1 HD and 4 normal dice into a pack of 6.
Id buy it. :D

The Half dice could use the Sidekick color scheme and variant hexman :D

I once rolled a 72D6 attack (I cannot for the world remember WHY). We rounded up every die in the house just to do this, just to see what it sounded like. The sound of them being flung around in a tupperware salad bowl caused us to wake up my best friend's mom who was in the next room.
Funny thing is that these days I have easily 5x that many dice laying around.

I took my Hero Dice to a local game day on Saturday. One person promptly bought three of them from me (and used them all through the Galactic Champs demo I ran). And I'm supposed to tell another person when I'm placing another order in the online store so she can add a dice order to mine and save on postage :) .
I will say that if you have smaller hands, you'll probably want a dice cup for large attacks. They're still fun, though :) .

My FLGS (Attactix, Aurora CO) had three packs of the HERO dice in today, snagged them all.
Agree, really need the Stun Multiplier die. A set that included 5 normal and 1 stun muliplier would aslo be cool. But the dice look cool and should help with the newer players that don't get the two different types of attack yet.
