This event is a charity fundraiser with ALL proceeds being fully donated to Grace Church of River Grove, who is also the host of the event. This is what happens when the pastor is a gamer.

Blacksword,
This is a very good idea. The pastor told me in a phone call that the event money has paid for repairs and upgrades to the church. This year's money may go to landscaping or other repairs. The church members last year were skeptical about this. But, after the $ came in, they have already scheduled next year's 'con. I hope other Hero people will come and play. My events (both superhero events) even have a small prize [a Hero System store poster!!!]. I have been told the food will be great. Homemade chili and great hot dogs.
Also it great that a 'con will be raising money for charity!!!!!

The 'con was a success. The food was great! (I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the 'con). I ran my two games (Normandy, a different what-if...) and the players had a great time. Attendence was about 30 or so, and many different games were played. I had a chance to play to Star Wars game also, it was a lot of fun.

Geez, that sounds like a good time. I wish I could have gotten away for it, but I'll do my best to make it there next year.
