Flying Dodge and Ranged Attacks

Someone attacks me with a ranged attack, and in response I Abort to Flying Dodge and fly around the corner, breaking LOS. Does the attacker get a chance to hit me, or is the attack guaranteed to miss?

The attack is not guaranteed to miss. From a dramatic perspective, it might hit just as the character starts his Flying Dodge or the like. The fact that he declares that he's moving around an obstacle doesn't ensure that he'll get there in time -- all the maneuver provides is a DCV bonus.
