I'm sort of committed to going, having purchased the airfare months ago and running two non-Hero events. But I'm definitely going to stop by the Hero booth and have some pleasant words with Ben and darren. If all goes well I'll actually be able to afford my hotel and a few purchases besides -- if I don't spend all my money on food. I hope you take plastic, because I'll probably have little if any cash.

Looking forward to a chance to look through Turakian Age and see what else is coming down the pike from Hero. Maybe Ben and I can talk about rebuilding some of the collection that I've lost oer the last year and a half!

Frankly I'm hoping that Hero will host a room party. Free Diet Coke. Yum.

The HERO books are just the same as when you saw them at DunDraCon (though there's still two weeks in which something could happen.) However, I did inheret a brand new scar that I can share the story about once I've gotten a couple of beers in me.

I found out today that I will have a room at the convention hotel after all. Whether I'll have money to spend while I'm there, though, may depend on whetehr anyone decies they want to room with me. It's unlikely. It may not even be all that desirable (my sleep-noises remind people of fully-functional swamills). But the possibility is out there.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes!
They've got them hoppy legs and twicthy little noses!
And what's with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies! Bunnies! It must be Bunnies!

Or maybe midgets....

(Couldn't Resist....)

On a perosnal note:

Although roommates seem unlikely, I would like some help on something else. I am thinking of hosting a room party Firday night to celebrate the launch of MPH Press. Howveer, i'm trying to figure out if that would cost too much to be worth the trouble. It woiuld depend on the prices and availabl\ility of things like cold sodas and hot pizzas.

Does anyone familair with the SF area have any idea howmuch I shoudl expect to spend, and how I can raise that money?
