Hey,

I'm at work and I'm not sure whether I can do the following:
1) buy the hero designer download for Windows and thusly,
2) Put the download zip file onto a zip disk and take it home where I
3) install the program.

I know that I can already download zip files and that I have a 100 mb zip disk and an appropriate drive at both locations. The reason I ask is that perhaps ther'es some sort of serial device on the actual download that prevents the file from being moved onto a disk, etc. and I'd hate to waste $45. The reason I'm doing this is that I don't have internet at home, nor will I for a few weeks out yet.

Thanks.

The download is an executable, not a zip. Beyond that, yes, you could put it on a zip disk and transfer it to your home computer.

I would recommend also pulling down the current update.jar so that you can bring your HD install up to the current version.

Even better! (the firewall here hates zips so I always have to take it down).

And thanks for the tip about the update.jar.
