View Full Version : The most trivial use of a near-cosmic level Superpower I've ever witnessed

Last night, while running my Cosmic Myths game, the PCs were approaching the planet Danalar, a typical hive of scum and villainy, to misquote Star Wars. The pilot, Morgan has a luck power that runs 150 AP. It's a 5d6 Aid that she can apply to nearly any activity she's aware of. In this case she appplied the Aid towards her Combat Piloting skill of 17- just to perform a legendarily fancy landing. She made the roll (after a -7 showoff penalty was applied) by 11. Han Solo couldn't have made a more flashy enterance.

*sniff* every once in a while my players understand the mood of the game I'm trying to set. It makes me so proud...

Feh. I've used a 240 active point power (80 pt Cosmic Power Pool with +1 of other adds) to wash dishes and help make sandwiches. :)
