Roleplaying on City of Heroes

Hey all. I just thought I'd entice some of you who ARE playing CoH and are fans of RPing that there are roleplay only supergroups forming all over the place. I've played there since February in the Beta test, and I do enjoy it, but it's not like Champions, powers-wise. There's very little choice of power and none of the customized special effects that Hero System has. But it's the only superhero MMORPG out there. And actually, I know why they couldn't make it very much like Champions, as far as character creation goes. Too complex for most players.

Coolness. We've got our own group over on Justice called "The Justice Squad", which we sometimes roleplay, but kind of in a light way. Some of the characters are at least derived from our FTF game.

I am trying to play CoH, but currently cannot even get the damn program to launch. I click on the Updater icon, and it just spins my little hourglass cursor for about 5 sec then, stops. Nothing at all happens. I posted for help in their tech forum, and am hopeful someone can aid me. Will see you guys there!

In there, they have listed their server maintenance times. If you posted your message immediately after trying to get on, then you might have been trying during the down time. Also, they just updated to the very-buggy patch of "Looking Glass", which would take a while.

Otherwise, might have just been internet router problems.

Hmm. Try clicking on the program icon. (I'm not even sure what the Updater icon is)
