Possible Cedar Rapids game

Now that I have a regular job (I think) I am thinking about starting up a game here in Cedar Rapids. Thought I would post this here to hopefully get some input from the possible players

First, are there people in the area that want to play in a game. Type to be determined depending on what the players want. The game would be run on Saturdays probably once or twice a month.

Second, what type of game would players be interested in playing. I am open to just about anything. I have run Champions before and am the most familiar with that. There are a number of types of Champions games that could be run. What are people interested in?

Not a Cedar Rapids player..but am in SE Iowa....I didnt think there was HERO players in this state...WOW...I have been trying to get a game going near me...for like forever....

I'd be game, but weekends aren't any good for me. We've got so many weddings and birthdays and things that I couldn't come. Now if it could be a weeknight, then I'd be able to work something out maybe.

I would get in on it but I am even farther then Nightshade (west of Des Moines by an hour) but there are Hero players in Iowa:) By the way any of you guys planning to hit Nuke con in October in Omaha? It should be very interesting given that Steve Long (he writes some Roleplaying game I think) ;) will be there.

Dont know about Nuke Con....never been....I just moved back from the West Coast....I got spoiled with living in Seattle, San Diego, and Los Angeles....but alas had to move....

Will have to check my long range schedule...
