Online Store & Money Orders

This has probably been asked a million times or so, BUT --

I don't have credit cards. Is it okay to use money orders to get something through the store, and if so, then how would I go about it?

(I'd prefer to get this all in the stores -- but considering I've been waiting over a year for both VIPER and Sharper than a Serpent's Tooth to show up, I'm getting a little tired of promises that lead nowhere.)
