Entangle Override?

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but...

Is there a way to override the maximums on adding either dice or DEF to an Engangle? Standard rules it's a max of doubling the value, but I'd like to have the option of ignoring this maximum to create something like a 10d6 2 DEF Entangle. Is this at all possible?

That is hard-coded into the app, so you won't be able to change it in a custom template unless you create a completely custom Power (replacing Entangle entirely).

As I feared.

Any suggestions (from Dan or anyone) how to go about making such a custom power? I have no idea how to get the display to read like Entangle does (the rest should be fairly easy, all I need to do is copy all the stuff out of the existing Entangle).

So long as you keep the DEF and the dice the same, you should be able to swing it....you won't be able to total in any Adders, though.
