I purchased v2 of the Hero Designer but can not seem to download it correctly. When I try to download, it has a save type as document (as opposed to Application for the demo). The end result is something that I can not seem to open up to create a program.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Otherwise I'm out 40 dollars.

Update:
I changed from document to all files and typed in ".exe" at the end of setup and it seems to work. Still... not fun. Thanks.

Yup. That's what you need to do. It's a Microsoft security feature that you can't download a file as an .exe.

This only effects people running XP Home edition. I have never run into these problems running XP Pro. XP Pro'll only append *.xml to HD files if you accept the default save as... option, but that's easy enought to fix.
