xd6 Absorbsion, usable by others (+1/2 or +3/4, I forget), ranged (+1/2), Fully Invisible (+1)...

Would this construct allow someone to transfer the points gained from Absorbed attacks to another party?
e.g. Bob has the above construct, he's hit with a 3d6 RKA, he Absorbs 5 Bod - can he transfer them to Bill instead of himself?

What you want would be an absorption with limitations and an aid to match the absorption usable at range and linked to the absorption. I think?

Heh, the points from Absorbsion going to Aid.

That would normally give Bill the ability to absorb points when Bill gets damage, and Bob and Bill would still be seperate. But a lenient GM might just call it special effects and let that slide.

I don't have the rules for it (they're in one of the DH issues), but there's a way to build a Power with an automatically reset Trigger which would be perfect for this. You'd buy an Aid with said Trigger, and a Limitation "Only As Many Points Per Turn As BODY Applied To Defenses This Phase". You don't actually need Absorption, because you aren't really absorbing anything.

Alternatively, you can buy the Aid 0 END, Persistant, Always On, Ranged, IPE, Others Only with the above Limitation if you don't like the Trigger rules.

Dust Raven is on the right track above. Its an Aid on a self resetting trigger limited (+/-0) to be the same as an incoming Absorb of equal dice.

It will likely be expensive.

Buy the UBO on the power or characteristic you're Absorbing *to*, not on the Absorption itself.

Bob has 10d6 Absorption. The Absorbed points go to "BODY, UBO, Ranged, Fully Invisible (total advantages +2)." This costs 50 points, since it's just a normal absorption. However the BODY your absorbing to has +2 of Advantages on it.

Bob Absorbs a 6 BODY hit. These 6 cp's translate into 1 BODY which he can give to Bill, at range, invisibly.

A weird construct, but I like it. :eg:

I like it! I would leave out the fully invisible though, just to save on points.

I would, too, but that's what the colonel wanted.

Don't forget, IIRC you'll need at least 1 point initially in that power (BODY that's UBO) in order to supply the Absorption to it.
