There's an artist doing work on the Hero books that I've really been enjoying, but I can't figure out who he is.

The signature looks like a "D" inside a square with the number 7 (or maybe it's a "Z" ... or an "A" ... or something else entirely) superimposed over it. Unfortunately I don't have my books in front of me so I can't say what page numbers... Anyone have any idea?

Thanx! :)

Bill.

Cool, thanks! Does he hang out on these boards? I'd like to tell him "nice job." :D

He shows up occasionally, especially when someone says "Good Job". :D

That's Jonathan Davenport.

One more request and this is going to have to go into the FAQ. :)

Off Topic: Keith, are you also a Self-Drawn man? I Like your spiffy new avatar.

I have a dream ... one day, all the artists will sign their art in such a way that everyone can read it. :)

Ain't going to happen, sadly. ;)

Even I sign my art with a "DR" that's "sewn together" in such a way that the "D" serves as the "spine" of the "R." :D

This is probably much more work than Andy and Allen want to put into products, but a certain other company has occasionally put notes in the inner margins identifying artists of particular pieces. Then again, artists could sign their pieces legibly, too, like Andy would like.

Either event happening any time too soon is probably equally probable. :D

In the fantasy RPG The Burning Wheel, the inner margin had a table of each artist's seal/logo/signatures. Sort of like the legend on a map, which I thought was a nice touch.

Who's the artist who did the FHG2 cover? I really like his skellingtons. :)

Nick Ingenri and Jonathan Davenport

I've updated the front page to be more informative. :)

What I would love is a web site for him...

"Ask and ye shall receive -- seek and ye shall find..."

http://www.davenpoe.com/ <-- Jon Davenport's (or D-poe) as we like to call him.

http://www.ingeneri.com/ <-- Nick's site (NING)
