Hey all, I'm new to the HERO system and just need a little clarification regarding Drain BODY and BODY damage. Let's say a character has a weapon built as a 1d6 HKA and that weapon had a linked Drain BODY 2d6 (HKA must do Body), how are the damage and Drain applied? Does the "victim" lose BODY equal to the damage of the HKA and then the Drain is applied to his current BODY?
Thanks in advance for any help.

1. Make an Attack Roll. We'll assume for purposes of the question that the Attack Roll succeeds, meaning the character hit his target.
2. Roll the HKA damage to find out how much BODY and STUN the attack does. Determine if the target suffers any BODY damage, using the regular rules for applying defenses to reduce damage.
3. If the target suffers BODY damage, then the Drain BODY takes effect, and you roll that damage and apply it to the target's Power Defense (if any).
