Hey everyone, I'm interested in either joining a Fantasy Hero or Champions game in the Atlanta Area. It's even possible that I could run a Fantasy Hero game starting sometime in September 2004.
I'm an experienced gamer with 15+ years of experience, more concerned with the Storyline and Character Development than I am with "winning the combat" or "amassing magic items," and have experience in many different game systems.
If interested, please contact me at Logomancer (Logomancer@comcast.net).

Kewl. I'm up in Suwanee. (North north east :) )
I'm hoping to get up some people. I'd like to do Champions but I'll do Fantasy as well.

Hey guys! I'm in Kennesaw and I have a brother in Roswell. We're interested in either Champions or Fantasy Hero. We tend to be very flexible in that regard.
We're also willing to locate the game wherever is most convenient for everyone involved; again...we're flexible.
What sorta' Champions game are we talking about? What sort of Fantasy game? Let's discuss. :)

Hey there everyone. I've got a small gaming group (3 players and myself) in the North Decatur area by 285. I just wrapped up a year long campaign and the group is looking for another game. I rarely get to play so I'd love to get into a good character and story driven game. The rest of my group is very character oriented as well. Our experience runs from a few who've been gaming for a few years up to me who've been gaming for 22+ years or so.
We're pretty much open as far as game options go.
If no good game materializes I may start a Star Wars Jedi based campaign using Star Hero.

Hmmm Logo...
My vote probably doesn't count because I'll be deployed to Kuwait from October to the beginning of January and unavailable to play, but I would go for a Champions campaign/ entry level characters type of thing. Of course, Fantasy hero would be fun too, but I think a Champions universe game could have the most diverse possibilities.

Dude...sorry to hear that...I think GMDave is working up a game that I'll be joining. Maybe he can work you in. :)

I'm up in the Cumming area, and have had some losses from my gaming group. The remains are 2 people, one a HERO neophyte but very enthusiastic, and the other a HERO old timer. I'd love to hook up with a few more folks for gaming say, every other week. If anyone on this thread is interested, fire me off a private email and we can work out details!

I'm in Marietta and I'm looking to join a Champions game. Are there any other gamers in the area?
Oh, I'm close enough to drive to Kennesaw and Roswell for games.

I'm down in Americus, a couple hours drive, but my brother lives in Sandy Springs. What kind of schedule are you looking to play? I'm up there pretty regular, and I can adjust my visiting schedule to coincide with games if they are on weekends, or if you do the every other week/once a month thing, or like that.

Hello,
If the campaign is still a go then I am very interested in joining! I live in Southwest Atlanta but will travel to game! I was hoping to find a game in metro Atlanta.
Thanks,
Konji

Hey looking to see if that campaign ever got off the ground. I had FH in the mid 80's a loved the system. Its been a few years since I've RP'd at all (other than via computer) but would be willing to get involved in a fun campaign. Perhaps even sit in on a few sessions first. I'm more into it for the stories than the "I wanna rule the world and kill everything" mentality. So even sitting in listening would be enjoyable for me.
I live in the Marietta/Kennesaw area (BellsFerry)
Drop me an email.

Hey man...a couple of opportunities surfaced, but never panned out. We're still gameless. I think this is evolving into a "hunt for an appropriate GM" issue, as everyone wants to play, but nobody wants to run a game.
With that said, I'm developing both a Champions (Super/Sci Fi Genre) and a Fantasy Hero game setting that I may run in January; for me, there's no need to start in the midst of the Holiday season, as it'll just get disrupted by people's lives (pesky lives!!).
At any rate, I'll be re-announcing it when the time comes and I'll keep you in mind. If anyone out there is interested in running a low-drama, low-stakes Champions game, let me know. I have a couple of players lined up who might be interested.

So sad that I was one of the GMs without the time to run... Please keep me in the mix as well.
Thanks

Fantasy Hero or Champions (or alternating both!) is fine with me. My schedule is pretty much up in the air, however,I have quit a bit of input on it. January sounds good to me.

Sorry Guys. I had major computer issues and then Work caught with me. Doh!
I literally fell off the map.
I'm going to look into my schedule issues and try to come up with some dates to play on.

Can anyone refer me to a good gaming store in the Marietta/Kennesaw area?
