Hey all, pulled my head out of City of Heroes long enough to do a pretty comprehensive editorial pass on my <a href="http://www.killershrike.com/FantasyHERO/HighFantasyHERO/FantasyHero.shtml" target="_top">High Fantasy HERO </a>site. Mostly I revamped the general "Campaign Guidelines" documents, editing for clarity and expanding in places.

Also got closer to phasing out the old magic set up in favor of my current model, though the Divine Magic set up is still in a state between the two. Will try to make time to edit that into the new format soon.

The only actually new content added is I finally sat down and made a chart summarizing the sample weapons list for my <a href="http://www.killershrike.com/FantasyHERO/HighFantasyHERO/armamentsNotes.shtml#Arms%20&%20Armor" target="_top">Variant Weapons</a> rules. Here is the Weapons Chart link for any of you that are interested in it.

You have the following comment under flaws, but since it talks about advantage, I think it is to refer to benefits.

* Do not refigure DC's or STR damage; apply advantage to total dice of effect.

The Dart entry needs the * to be at the end. I think Stabbing and Cleaving is missing the *.

I like the expanded weapon categories, I didn't like the fact that (in FRED) if you had a 21 STR you could wield anything one-handed.

I would also replace:
Similarly the "Any/Any" and "Swordmaster" Deadly Blow would not affect Slimes and Molds, or Golems, or some "Magical Constructs" if they are designed as Automatons, but Deadly Blow (Slimes, Molds, Oozes), Deadly Blow (Golems), and Deadly Blow (vs Magic Creatures) would respectively.

with:

And yes, you are right, Cleaving and Stabbing should both have the asterix. Ill try to remember to make the changes when I get home in the morning.

I recommend a "White Event", similar to DP7, but in a fantasy context :D

Made these edits, and also added a couple of clarifying notes regarding the "+X per Die" and "+x STUN" abilities indicating that the extra damage cannot exceed the maximum possible damage. That was the intent all along, but I realized that I didnt actually spell that out anywhere :D
