Apart from the brief writeup in Until: Defenders of Freedom, is there any "official" mention of Denver (or the rest of Colorado) in the Champions Universe? Are there any plans to do anything with the Mile-High City?

Offhand, I don't recall any other mentions, though I'm sure if there are some someone will post and point you to 'em.

We have no particular plans to detail Denver, or any other real-world city. It's too much hassle, and there are too many geeks* who will complain that we didn't get such-and-such right. Fictional cities are easier to work with. ;)

*: I use the term "geek" here in the classic S. John Ross definition of the term: a person who will use his own knowledge to ruin his own fun (or, to put it another way, a person who'll ruin his own fun for the sake of showing off what he knows). In this case, it's someone who'll complain about the "accuracy" of the portrayal of a real-world city rather than simply enjoying a setting book for what it's intended to be, and using it to play great games.

I didn't figure there would ever be a sourcebook or anything like that; I just wondered if it's written somewhere that Denver is home to Captain Such-and-So and his team of So-and-Soettes...? :D

The only reference to Colorado at all in the manner you're talking about that I can remember is that it was once the territory of the Silver Age Meteorman (the second of three that used that name.) He was a Colorado park ranger in his secret id and had a working relationship with NORAD, and was a founding member of the Sentinels. (See Digital Hero, issues #13-14.) He's been deceased since the mid-1980s, though, and I don't see that we've specified who if anybody else has replaced him out there. dw

Someone who writes role playing games for a living calling other people geeks. Now that's funny  (C'mon people, take a joke! I'll probly get banned now.)
