We were recently visited by Tony Gilks, a Hero die-hard from Canada who stopped by our office while driving down to Los Angeles on vacation.
Thanks for coming by Tony!

What are those black things spackled on the wall under the UMA promo poster? Hole patches?
Damn, there went the security deposit. What have I told you about using the BB gun inside, Ben! ;) just kidding
Seriously, that is way kewl! Now I feel bad because I can't seem to get out of Kansas City long enough or far enough to do what Tony did. :D

The black marks are strips of velcro attached to the wall so that we can hang up our display art. We'd just returned from DDC and so the art that we took with us hadn't been put back on the wall.

Heh, I live just across the bay and am too much of a lazy ass to stop by. ;)

Ah, that's a relief. For a moment I'd thought they were all that was left over after someone had passionately ripped down the promo poster for TUV. ;)

Yeah, what's up with that? Don't you want to get your picture taken with Darren and have it posted here for Herodom to view?

Hmmmmphhh! You guys never took my picture when I dropped by the office. :(
In fact, you put me to work putting together Hero Designer CDs for DunDraCon. I'd claim it was yet another example of anti-Canadianism on the part of Hero but obviously, Tony proves that wrong. Maybe, Hero is just anti-me. :)

Well, Rod, if you had brought your own camera then we would have been glad to take a picture of you slaving over Hero Designer labels... :)

What can I say - I would hate to have a comparison of my visage against the radiant genteel yet rugged charms of Darren.

Stupid question
Is the Hero games office open to the public??
Can any fan walk in to say hello??
Not trying to be a jerk, but I have a friend that is a big hero games user and will be in town in a few days....
Just wondering

Generally speaking, anybody is welcome to come visit the Hero offices. We've had a couple of fans drop by and say hello and see the place (which, honestly, isn't that interesting to look at, although there's always the possibility of seeing some cool art before the public, or watching Ben at feeding time.) We do ask you check with us first by e-mail and set a time, or otherwise we simply may not have time to see you. dw
