View Full Version : Power for Review: too cheesy?

Please review this power I am considering for a superhero character:

Combat Intuition: +4 SPD (40 Active Points); Only To Take "Abort" Actions (-3/4); 23 Real Points.

The idea is that this power will double the hero's SPD, but the additional Phases will only be able to be used for "Abort" actions -- Block, Dodge, Dive For Cover, Roll With A Punch, etc.

The reason I fear this may be too much fromage is that this will allow the hero to essentially be dodging (or whatever) at all times. Almost a free +4 DCV. He can move and attack in his regular Phase, then immediately abort to Dodge after he has attacked. He won't really be subject to any DCV penalties from Martial Attacks.

Opinions?

You might want to check out a similar thread from a few weeks ago concerning limited speed for aborts and such.

+4 w/ DCV is 3 points cheaper, btw, and always there even when attacking :)
