According to DC if an attack has points of piercing and is also armor piercing, the piercing points are applied before the AP effect. In your answer to my previous question you stated that hardened defenses stop any points of piercing.

What if an attack has Armor Piercing and Piercing? Does a single level of hardening stop the whole thing? Or is this a case where 1 level of hardening would stop 1 level of AP and therefore allow the Piercing to carry through?

I hope I explained that right.

An appropriate Hardened defense will stop any number of Piercing points in addition to an Advantage. For example, if an attack is both AP and has Piercing, a single level of Hardened stops both.
