Pushing/Aid: base or added damage?

Let us say that I push my 2D6 HKA (up to 2.5D6, for 10 END).

Is this considered an increase in base damage (thus allowing a possible max damage of 5D6+1), or is it considered to be added damage (maximum still 4d6)?

Similarly, is an Aid to my HKA considered to be an increase to base damage, or is it added damage?

Both count as base damage. There's a question on the Pushing issue in the forthcoming Rules FAQ update.
